Talk to an intake specialist over the phone. He or she will answer all of your questions and see if you are a good fit for Promises. Promises treats addiction to a variety of drugs and substances, including alcohol, cocaine, codeine, heroin, marijuana, methamphetamine, oxycodone, and many others. In addition, we are always happy to be a resource to those better fitted for another treatment center.
A private one-on-one meeting with one of our highly trained counselors will put you at ease and help you better understand the process to determine the right treatment program for you. The tour gives you the opportunity to see our facility and see first hand where you’ll be potentially spending a significant amount of time starting your recovery journey.
Promises offers five different forms of treatment: Residential, Extended Care, Day Treatment, Intensive Outpatient Program, and Sober Living.
Promises residential alcohol and drug rehab is similar to an inpatient drug treatment program. Clients are expected to make a minimum commitment of 30 days, where they live on site in one of our houses with others who are attempting to recover from substance abuse, chemical dependency, alcoholism or addiction.
The Promises Extended Care program provides a supportive and safe setting for men and women in the early stages of recovery to make the transition from residential treatment back into the community. The structured program is designed to address issues that arise as clients re-enter the workplace and re-join their families.
Day Treatment provides critical therapeutic services and support for individuals transitioning from their residential treatment experience. The program also is helpful for people who need more structure than Outpatient Treatment can provide.
Day Treatment clients benefit from an intensive, structured and supportive environment during the day, while spending the night at their own home.
Promises offers Outpatient Treatment programs for men and women who need a structured treatment program, but may not require or desire the clinical intensity of Residential/Inpatient or Day Treatment.
The Outpatient program allows participants to continue their professional careers while receiving the necessary treatment to live a productive life, free from drug and alcohol dependence. Structured over a four-month period, with flexible schedules to accommodate work and school, the program is designed to identify and address emotional and behavioral obstacles to recovery and sobriety.
For those clients who cannot or should not return to their former residence, Promises offers Sober Living homes, a comfortable and safe environment which cultivates a sober, balanced lifestyle through structured guidelines and mutual accountability, rather than through onsite treatment.
Nestled in the picturesque Santa Monica Mountains with a gorgeous panoramic view of the Pacific Ocean, Promises Malibu offers and unparalleled recovery experience, uncommon luxury and is the rehab facility of choice for anyone wanting the finest quality surroundings while experiencing the highest quality addiction treatment program. Located on two family estates in the hills of Malibu, the Promises Malibu facility offers breathtaking views in a peaceful, secluded environment.
The Promises West Los Angeles facility is designed for clients who would like the highest quality drug rehab, alcoholism or addiction treatment in a more affordable setting.
Located in West Los Angeles, halfway between Beverly Hills and the Pacific Ocean, and near UCLA and other Los Angeles landmarks, Promises West L.A. is a tranquil oasis in a home-like setting where clients stay in one of two houses which provide a safe, friendly environment.
Both of our facilities have limited beds, so it’s advised to reserve your space as soon as you know you're ready for treatment. After determining which location you’ll be staying at, we arrange payment options and work with your insurance company to provide them with the proper medical information in order to apply for reimbursement.
