3. Choose an Addiction Treatment Program

   To ensure that we meet each client’s unique needs, Promises offers five different types of addiction treatment:

   • Residential Treatment

     Promises residential alcohol and drug rehab is similar to an inpatient drug treatment program. Clients typically spend a minimum of 30 days with us, where they live onsite in one of our beautiful homes with others who are also recovering from addiction and co-occurring disorders.

   • Extended Care

     The Promises Extended Care program provides a safe, supportive setting for men and women in the early stages of recovery to make the transition from residential treatment back into the community. This structured program is designed to address issues that arise as clients re-enter the workplace and re-join their families.

   • Day Treatment

     Day Treatment provides critical therapeutic services and support for individuals transitioning from residential drug treatment. Day Treatment clients benefit from an intensive, structured and supportive environment during the day, while spending the night at their own home. The program also is helpful for people who need more structure than Outpatient Treatment can provide.

   • Intensive Outpatient Program

     Promises offers Outpatient Treatment programs for men and women who need a structured treatment program, but may not require or desire the clinical intensity of Residential/Inpatient or Day Treatment. Our outpatient drug rehab program allows clients to maintain their careers and families while receiving the necessary treatment to live a productive life, free from drug and alcohol dependence. Structured over a four-month period, with flexible schedules to accommodate work and school, the program is designed to identify and address emotional and behavioral obstacles to recovery.

   • Sober Living

     For those clients who cannot or should not return to their former residence, Promises offers Sober Living homes, a comfortable and safe environment that cultivates a sober, balanced lifestyle through structured guidelines and mutual accountability.

   • Malibu

     Nestled in the picturesque Santa Monica Mountains with a gorgeous panoramic view of the Pacific Ocean, Promises Malibu offers an unparalleled recovery experience and uncommon luxury. Promises Malibu is the rehab facility of choice for anyone wanting the finest amenities and most comfortable surroundings while receiving the highest quality addiction treatment. Located on two family estates in the hills of Malibu, the Promises Malibu facility offers breathtaking views in a peaceful, secluded environment.

   • West Los Angeles

     Promises West Los Angeles is designed for our young adult clients who would like the highest quality drug rehab, alcoholism or addiction treatment. Located in the Mar Vista neighborhood in West Los Angeles, halfway between Beverly Hills and the Pacific Ocean, Promises West L.A. is a tranquil oasis in a home-like setting. Clients reside in one of two houses which provide a safe, friendly environment to recover from addiction and co-occurring disorders. Many clients continue on to extended care and sober living homes across the street from the main treatment cottages.

   Both of our facilities have limited space because Promises focuses on highly attentive and individualized care, so be sure to reserve your room as soon as you know you’re ready for treatment.
