Carol Farmer, LAC, LASAC
Carol has expertise in treating clients with addiction, eating disorders and co-occurring disorders. She works with individuals, couples and families in inpatient and outpatient settings. Carol is trained in EMDR and sand tray therapy and enjoys facilitating experiential group processing.
Carol is a licensed associate counselor and a licensed associate substance abuse counselor in the state of Arizona. She earned a master’s degree in community counseling from the University of Texas-San Antonio, and is currently completing a doctoral degree in organizational leadership with an emphasis in behavioral health at Grand Canyon University. Carol is passionate about empowering clients to take responsibility for their recovery through the application of dialectical behavior therapy, building hope for the future, rebuilding relationships and working the 12 Steps.
