Dejaye Botkin, LPC
Dejaye is a licensed professional counselor in both New Jersey and Arizona. She is the founder and former director of DJB Counseling LLC, Sparta Teen Talk, and the Juvenile Accountability Leadership Program in New Jersey. Dejaye was also an adjunct professor with Centenary University in New Jersey working in the psychology department. She moved to Arizona in 2017 and has been actively working with adults and families in crisis in the East Valley.
Dejaye holds a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and a master’s degree in counseling psychology. She specializes in trauma recovery and holds certifications in professional mediation, clinical supervision, psychiatric screening and psychological first aid. She is also the author of Thinking Clearly: A Guide to Interpreting the Language of an Abuser.
