Linka Griswold, PsyD, LMFT
Dr. Griswold holds a doctorate in clinical psychology with an emphasis in forensics. She is also a licensed marriage and family therapist in the state of California and has over 13 years of clinical experience. In addition to her clinical work, she is a professor of psychology at several reputable colleges and universities in the Los Angeles area. Her clinical repertoire includes brief and long-term therapy, family therapy and family systems approaches, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma focused CBT, dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), substance abuse recovery and relapse prevention, psychoanalytic, and solution focused modalities.
Dr. Griswold received her state certification working with survivors of trauma from UCLA Medical Hospital in Santa Monica. She focuses on strengths and encourages mental, emotional and spiritual growth by providing empathy, warmth and a safe therapeutic environment. Treatment is focused not only on symptom reduction, but full recovery. She uses evidence-based treatment, pulling from the most contemporary and scientifically founded interventions within clinical psychology.
