Substance use disorders have become a national problem in the last decade. It has become frighteningly life-threatening as a result. When addiction takes over your life, getting on track towards recovery can change everything. That’s why we’ve developed comprehensive, in-person and virtual outpatient programming to help bring people back to their most authentic selves.
With the P.A.T.H. program, we have created personalized treatment planning because every individual is different. We provide you with a thorough diagnostic and biological, psychological and socio-environmental assessment to see where you need to start in the program. Our goal is to address your addiction and any mental health disorders you may have, as well.
Our focus is on helping you develop and educate you on how to maintain a healthier life without drugs and alcohol. To this end, we’ll teach you critical relapse prevention skills, work through the core of your substance abuse through trauma-integrated treatment models and help you find who you are without substances. You’ll also participate in individual and group therapy and begin attending 12-step support groups or alternatives to 12-step programs.
Medication for Opioid Disorder is a medicated model that assists clients diagnosed with opioid use disorder. MOUD works with FDA-approved medications and behavioral therapy to help people work through their opioid addiction.
MOUD is often a necessary part of addiction treatment programs for an opioids use disorder. Whether you need MOUD dramatically depends on the severity of the addiction.
These prescription drugs work by binding to the same opioid receptors as heroin. This essentially “tricks” the brain into thinking you’re using heroin, which can help prevent the powerful drug cravings. Also, it eases withdrawal symptoms. However, using these treatment medications requires oversight from a medical professional.
The P.A.T.H. medical and behavioral health professionals are compassionate, knowledgable and genuinely want to help people get better. Our staff will provide you with a unique addiction treatment plan and can help you should you decide to come in for a walk-in diagnostic assessment. You will also have high-quality health care and behavioral therapy to address underlying issues contributing to substance abuse.
During your time as a P.A.T.H client, you’ll participate in individual, group therapy and family therapy sessions. Individual sessions help you work on emotional pain and trauma that can fuel alcohol and drug addiction. Our therapists may draw on therapies like cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy and mindful techniques such as meditation. These approaches are instrumental in addiction treatment programs.
Group therapy offers similar results with the added understanding of peer experiences and bonding. Group therapy also includes:
