Outpatient Drug Rehab for Professionals

Treatment for Professionals

At Promises P.A.T.H. programs, we understand that your career is a crucial part of your life. Our P.A.T.H. outpatient treatment services provide professionals with the level of comfort and discretion they desire while helping them maintain their daily obligations.

We offer in-person or virtual outpatient treatment for professionals to help you overcome substance use disorders and mental health conditions specifically.

Substance Abuse Among Professionals

Research shows that 10% of full-time employees will develop a substance use disorder in any given year. Certain professions are more susceptible to drug and alcohol addiction than others. This includes:

  • Licensed professionals
  • Executives
  • Physicians and other healthcare professionals
  • Dentists
  • Pilots
  • Law enforcement officers and other first responders
  • Attorneys

The high prevalence of addiction in these professions often stems from related work stress and pressures. Entrepreneurs also have an increased risk of addiction. People in these careers may experience chronic stress, overwork and burnout. Some professionals will turn to drugs and alcohol to try to numb these symptoms.

Many professionals learn to live as high-functioning substance users. They can still achieve career success while also abusing drugs or alcohol. It is only after their addiction spirals out of control and begins impacted their work that they seek help. Their substance use disorder may also affect their relationships and general quality of life.

The P.A.T.H. programs offer a range of treatment options for professionals in the midst of addiction. Our treatment programs are personalized for your specific needs and aim to address all kinds of addictions and mental health disorders.

We also provide dual diagnosis treatment to help professionals experiencing both substance use and mental health challenges. We will conduct a thorough diagnostic assessment to evaluate what outpatient rehab treatment works best for you and your busy daily life.

Assessments at Executive Rehab Centers

At our executive rehab centers, we provide personalized evaluations. Assessments can help determine if you have a substance use disorder and/or co-occurring mental health issues. They also allow your care team to make treatment recommendations.

During your diagnostic assessment, we will explore the following factors:

  • The presence of any mental health issues
  • The state of your physical health
  • The type of substance use disorder you have
  • The nature and severity of your addiction

Outpatient Treatment for Professionals

The P.A.T.H. outpatient treatment for professionals may be an option depending on your diagnostic needs assessment results. Our P.A.T.H. programs are less invasive than residential treatment options. This means you can still fulfill your work duties. Our programs are better suited to milder forms of drug or alcohol addiction. Whether it’s in-person or virtual,  you can expect to attend outpatient rehab for around 10-12 hours a week or more and receive a wide range of therapies and treatments. Our outpatient treatment options include:

  • Partial hospitalization program (PHP)
  • Intensive outpatient program (IOP)
  • Virtual outpatient program (VIOP)
  • Non 12-step based meetings
  • Rooted alumni program

Treatment Options

The P.A.T.H treatment programs offer:
