He earned a bachelor’s degree in comparative literature from Yale University and a master’s degree from Columbia University. Dr. La Riche received his medical degree from the Ponce School of Medicine in Puerto Rico where he graduated with clinical distinction. He completed his internship and residency in psychiatry at the University of Miami, Miller School of Medicine, and received his fellowship in addiction psychiatry from the University of Miami.
