In a “Hot Topics” article in Phoenix Magazine’s latest volume (Vol. 47 No. 4), we offer the story of one of our alumni as a example of the harm that prescription drug addiction can do to a person.
It was a syringe full of medicine that plunged her down the rabbit hole, and medicine that kept her there, dragging her deeper into a hinterland of darkness, till she could barely remember the women she once was – or, really, anything at all.
