Treatment at Promises West Los Angeles is rooted in the 12 Steps, and also addresses grief/loss, emotion dysregulation, trauma and other issues that contribute to unhealthy behaviors. Each client will move through the Stages of Change in a structured program that includes:

Every client is assigned a clinician for family therapy.  Each week there is a family group led by a licensed psychologist, a family members-only group led by one of our other clinicians, and a multi-family group.  In addition to these groups, the family therapist works with each family separately on their specific issues and clients and their families are invited to participate in a four-day intensive family program.
