Renowned Tech, Sex and Addictions Expert Robert Weiss to Conduct Advanced Clinical Training Classes in London

On Nov. 10 and 11 in London, Robert Weiss, LCSW, CSAT-S, renowned psychotherapist in the areas of tech, sex and addiction, and founder of the Sexual Recovery Institute in Los Angeles, will present advanced training on complex sexual addiction and recovery issues, including the effect of digital technology on sex and relationships. London (PRWEB) Oct. 7, 2014 – Robert Weiss, LCSW, CSAT-S, internationally acclaimed author, psychotherapist and founding director of the Sexual Recovery Institute, will conduct advanced classes on hypersexual disorders as well as the effect of digital technology on sex, tech, online porn and addiction on Nov. 10 and 11 at the London Marriott Kensington, in London. About the Speakers

Robert Weiss is widely considered one of the nation’s foremost experts on sex and technology addictions along with the intimacy disorders that often underlie these problems. An author and media expert to CNN, The Oprah Winfrey Network, ESPN, The New York Times, ESPN and the Today Show, among others, Mr. Weiss also has provided clinical training and program development for the National Institutes of Health, the U.S. military, and behavioral treatment centers throughout the United States, Europe and Asia. David Brown is a licensed addictions counselor and a certified intervention professional with more than three decades of experience in the field. He has performed more than 140 interventions and works with many of the leading treatment centers in the U.S. He is pursuing   CSAT certification, and follows the philosophy of Patrick Carnes and Rob Weiss. Mark Gilman is strategic recovery lead for Public Health England, an executive agency sponsored by the U.K.’s Department of Health. Gilman is currently working with Public Health England to show how treatment systems that have a recovery orientation can make a significant contribution to prevention and early intervention. He works with mutual aid groups, such as Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous, to promote prevention and community development.
